Kenneth R. Bryant, MD

Dr. Bryant graduated from high school in Platka, FL. in 1970. He went on to earn his BS degree in Chemistry from Mercer University in 1974 and MD degree from the University of Florida in 1978. He completed his residency in Genitourinary Surgery at Brooke Army Medical Center in 1984.
Dr. Bryant served as Chief of Urology at Martin Army Hospital before moving to St. Petersburg, FL, where he was a board- certified urologist until retiring in 2021. His last five years in practice were spent as Chief of Urology at Bay Pines VA Medical Center.
Outside of his impressive career, Dr. Bryant has been happily married to Dr. Nancy Bryant for 50 years. They are the proud parents to Kris, Kevin and Natalie, and doting grandparents to Kai, Jonas, Alivia and Julian.

Charlie W. Colquitt, PharmD, CPh

Dr. Charlie W. Colquitt is a proud native of Saint Petersburg with a deep love for the Tampa Bay area. A clinical pharmacist with more than 30 years of experience, he currently serves as a tenured professor at Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Institute of Public Health. In this role, Dr. Colquitt teaches Ambulatory Care, Seminar and Research Methods, and Patient Care courses, preparing future pharmacists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Dr. Colquitt earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Florida A&M University and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Xavier University of Louisiana. He further completed a postgraduate general practice residency at Bayfront Medical Center, strengthening his commitment to clinical excellence and community-focused practice.
Outside of academia, Dr. Colquitt enjoys an active lifestyle. On weekends, he can often be found cycling up to 45 miles throughout Pinellas County with “The Crew” Cycling Club. He also enjoys attending Tampa Bay Buccaneers games, reading, traveling, and playing golf.
A strong advocate for preventive care, Dr. Colquitt is dedicated to eliminating racial health disparities through education and optimized patient care. He is deeply passionate about community engagement and committed to serving individuals and families most in need.

Shacara Wilson, MD

Dr. Shacara Wilson is a board certified Family Medicine physician with a distinguished career caring for the citizens of St. Petersburg. Driven by her love for humanity, justice and equitable care for all, she empowers her patients to become the best version of themselves. To further this mission, she has joined The Minority Health Coalition of Pinellas Inc. in the quest to improve the health of all who suffer the most disparate care. She hopes to give back to her community by contributing her time and talent to this agency, working tirelessly to enhance healthcare for all.
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending quality time with her family, practicing yoga and exploring new places, always seeking out the best that life has to offer.

Jaida Taylor, APRN, CNM

Jaida Taylor is licensed Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (APRN) and Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with more than 20 years of experience in women’s health and obstetrics. Born and raised in Fort Myers, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Bethune-Cookman University in 1997 and later completed her Master’s degree in Nursing with midwifery training at the University of Florida in 2002.
Jaida joined the Orlando Health Bayfront OB/GYN Residency Program in 2015 and is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care. She is also dedicated to community service and advancing health equity by working to eliminate healthcare disparities in women’s health.
She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where she remains committed to service, scholarship and community engagement. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she loves spending quality time with family and friends. These moments help keep her grounded and inspired in both personal and professional life.
